New Build – 7 Detached Luxury Residential Dwellings

The development site was originally a part of the much larger Bartle Hall Estate and has been in the ownership of the Haworth family since the 1990s. Through sheer hard work and commitment The Bartle Hall Hotel is now recognised as one of the premier country house hotels in Lancashire. It is the estate owner’s intention to use the money raised from this residential development to finance the hotel expansion.

David Cox Architects worked closely with the client throughout the design process with a mutual aim to deliver high quality design that is sympathetic to the local rural context. The proposed materials, such as red bricks and slate roofs, are in keeping with the local character and also echoing the palette of the Bartle Hall Hotel.
