Alistair successfully qualified as an Architect in 2023 after passing the RIBA Part 3 examination with the RIBA North West. Alistair joined David Cox Architects in 2018 after completing his Masters at UCLan. He has worked on a variety of projects including the Preston Sign, St Francis Mews, New South Promenade and Allen Street.

Undergraduate studies specialised on environmental design, while masters thesis was heavily influenced by people, places, and music. Believes the world needs more bikes.

LoftHaus

The LoftHaus is a luxury high-rise residential development aims to enhance the cityscape of Preston with a new look. The natural environment has influenced and inspired various aspects of the design including both form and function. Alistair produced high quality 3d imagery for the project which was fundamental in achieving planning permission for this inspiring project.

NEW SOUTH PROMENADE, BLACKPOOL

The New South Promenade project will see two residential developments located at each end of a well-known crescent of buildings along Blackpool’s south shore promenade, which dates back to 1926. Alistair outlined the initial design principle to provide as many apartments with a beautiful sea view as possible. The design was delivered successfully by providing private balcony or access to roof terrace from all apartments, taking advantage of the scenic sunset views all year around at the Blackpool’s West facing promenade. Alistair’s strong design and visualisation skills brought the scheme to life.
