It’s been 12-months since Bistrot Pierre opened its doors in Preston city centre. The conservation and renovation of the historic Grade II Listed Fishergate Baptist Church has certainly created a stylish and very popular addition to the high street, and has protected the building for generations to come.
We are always keen for feedback from the end-users of our schemes so delighted to hear glowing comments from recent visitors, via Trip Advisor, appreciating the splendour of the building originally designed over 160 years ago and its considered conversion:
“I absolutely love how this former church building has been renovated into such a beautiful restaurant, retaining some of it’s original features. The decor is perfect! I enjoyed looking around the building this morning & there is a lot more to this restaurant than first meets the eye”.
“This is a really interesting venue. Former church cleverly restored and converted makes for atmospheric and visually exciting venue”.
“The restaurant has been converted from an old church, the interior is lovely and retains most of the original features with big stained glass windows its one of the nicest interiors of restaurants in Preston”.
“The renovation of the former church in my opinion is just stunning and glad that an empty building has been given a new lease of life”.
