Joining as a Part II Architectural Assistant, we are very pleased to announce Jamie Boardman as a new team member at David Cox Architects.
Following his Part I, Jamie secured a year-out placement at Pye Design Architects in Wigan, whereby he worked on over 50 projects across the residential, commercial and education sectors, and gained experience across every element of the RIBA Plan of Works.
Recently completing his Master of Architecture (MArch) at Manchester School of Architecture, Jamie showcases a particular interest in the environmental considerations of the industry.
Jamie commented “Architecture is the best of all arts which most appropriately reflects my creative skills, whilst having a beneficial impact on the world and the lives of others. I believe we can create much more considered architecture that respects the environment and planet for our future generations.”
Supporting the wider team across some significant residential and community-led projects currently in progress, Jamie will be mentored to further develop his career path and expand his architectural knowledge.
